why not just use eggshell foam?
alot cheaper, quicker and more compact -
I purchased this pad (comfort series XXL) right out of the bag it did not inflate to the 4" thickness. it did not inflate to 4" the second time.. so I blew in to the valve ,and then it did .. now when I use it, it inflates to its full 4" thickness no problem.. in fact I find I sleep better when I let a little air out (it lets me sink in a bit) only problem I have with this pad is the valves are at the foot of the pad not up on the pillow.. not a big deal but still... anyway I love this pad...

Zach is clear, concise, and comes quickly to the reason behind this three minute video. He is also easy to look at.

just bought the comfort series, 2 of them and neither one of them is inflating the way it showed on the video.... they are not anywhere near as comfortable as they were in the store....

Perhaps after I go camping in May, I'll update my review. But for now, I'm impressed at how small it packs and it was reasonably easy to get it back to original size. here is the link to it in case anyone is interested:amzn.to\1eYiVUU
