Those clear windows on each end- do they compromise privacy in any way? I camp in public campgrounds often when car camping....trying to figure out how much people can see in with that fly installed on it. Out on the trail who cares, but in a public campground privacy when changing clothes is kinda important.

Omg, this is is hilarious that this is your video Brittany. I started subscribing to you a few months back through your minimalism videos, but I watched this video at another point before that when I was looking into a tent that I was buying. I had no idea this was made by you. What are the chances?!

Thanks so much, +Sunshine Magnolia! Yes, I love to hear about what's working for you and I'm really interested in hammocks. So glad you commented :)

Hey just want to share that I've been using a clarks hammock and its amazing! A little expensive but very versitile, light weight and comfortable! Just thought you might like it! =)

Just bought this exact tent yesterday on Steapandcheap.com. I'm excited to use it soon. Thank you for posting this video!

I have the 1 person Lynx tent. It is roomy enough for my 6'3" 210 lb bod. Best constructed tent I have ever owned. Weighs 4 lb. , aluminum stakes. If you camp above timberline, you will appreciate that it is free standing.
There are lighter tents, but not for this money. -
Hi Mathyas. They seem to be super comparable, just differing slightly in square footage, peak height, weight, etc. The prices seem to be in the same range as well, depending where you are planning to purchase it through. The deciding factors seem to be little details like the way the poles attach to the tent. I'd say either way you will have made a great decision, although I have never personally used the Morrison 2. Good luck!

Hi, can't decide between this one or the mountainsmith Morrison 2 tent. Any suggestions. Thanks

Hi Anthony! So you don't need to stick the poles into the ground to get them to curve like that. Where the tent side and tent floor meet in each corner there will be a metal pin/rod, about 2" long that fits inside the end of the tent poles and holds them in position. Additionally, although we did not stake the tent down in this video, the tent comes with stakes which are a good idea to use as well to maintain the tent's position on the ground. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Yes, we are really enjoying it. We have been backpacking with it for quite some time now and have used it in the rain and it has stayed dry every time. The only thing I would suggest is purchasing a ground sheet. We are using a tarp (just about 6 inches smaller than the floor plan of the tent on each side) and it has helped keep the tent ground dry. Best of luck to you!

Do you still like the tent? I'm considering buying on on eBay.
