The Ibex Goats have beneath their hooves... a sucker like pad that virtually "sucks" onto the surfaces they climb !! I saw this on a BBC EArth TV program.. and this phenomenal sucker pad is what prevents them from slipping ! Even so...their Creator has bestowed excellent balance upon these amazing creatures !! On the same TV show.. I saw a wolf after a very young goat that had become separated from its mother.. and it climbed onto a ledge that the wolf could not reach !! Thanks to the faithful sucker pads ! they look spongy...cushioning their hooves....thanks to God for his innovative creatures that never stop amazing mankind !
