Alpamayo is a mountain in Peruvian Andes with elevation of 5947m. This almost perfect ice pyramid was several times declared the most beautiful mountain in the world. The mountain was named after the nearby village of Alpamayo (in Quechua Turbid water). First climbed in 1951by Belgian climber George Kogan. Pictures and other events on www.dismanteam.com

I'm going there next summer and we are not sure about taking normal winter climbing boots or buying double boots for this trip. I see you used some kind of gaiters, which one is it? -
