When this song first came out there was much speculation over the plot line and story so viewer interpretations were very blurry, but after subbing/translating this, it really shocked me. This song is about true bravery. Again disclaimer: I am not a native and I am not 100% sure on Japanese grammar- these are my own interpretations. In Coward Mont blanc, Gumi trying to be strong in her own sense even when she clearly knows that she is soft inside. Even though she was willing to give up herself wholeheartedly, she chooses to keep that soft, sweet side within herself at the very end.
