A Polyamorous Couple’s Guide To Sleeping With Multiple Partners [INSIGHTS] | Elite Daily
Mountain | reviews | videos | photos
Brooklyn residents Tran and Caleb are similar to most couples, except for one small detail -- they’re in a loving, open relationship. After a long subway ride one night, Tran brought up the idea and hoped the suggestion wouldn’t scare her partner away. Instead of viewing this as something negative, Caleb embraced it. Since then, they’ve been exploring the world of polyamory. Polyamory is defined as “the state of being in love or romantically involved with more than one person at the same time.” It’s not the easiest path to choose; you have to be up for the challenge of being very communicative and open-minded about everything. Tran and Caleb face these obstacles head on -- including finding dates, transparency and (the big one) jealousy. They even divulge details of their encounters with other people in their in-depth and educational podcast, “Polychat." http://www.polychat.org/ (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/polychat/id969994234?mt=2) You’ll be surprised to find the infamous world of polyamory isn’t all fun and full of threesomes, but instead focused on friends, community and exploring the great city and beautiful people of New York with a primary partner by your side. Monogamy isn’t for everyone, and neither is polyamory, but if you decide to venture off into this world with your partner, hopefully Tran and Caleb’s findings and advice can help you throughout the journey. I can't share someone like that. But you do you
-
This is an abomination
-
it looks like he's more into it than Tran
-
i don´t really care about who or how many they f**k, but y'all have to admit they look hella awkward, especially the guy when he smiles, he looks embarassed. Also it's like they don't have anything in life other than this. They don't talk about hobbies, goals or just movies, clothes, whatever...
-
These two have got to be the biggest and most boring hipsters ever. How "progressive".
-
why they don't go to jail for stuff like this
-
jak jak jak people are going crazyyyyyyyyy
-
lol fuck that bird image. ur still get pussy.. this idea is just selfish
-
Polyamory? You mean cuckoldry.
-
They explain poly as fulfilling a desire for more sexual attention; sounds more like thirty. Isn't this just swinging? I thought poly was supposed to be about multiple RELATIONSHIPS.
-
these people are so delusional, their "relationship" is so shallow and based purely on sex.
-
complete bullshit story they LOOK unhappy on the surface especially the chick
-
The cheesy analogies made their story impossible to take seriously
-
You guys are done in 6 months
-
this is straight shit, I met a guy trying to get me involved in this shit. To make matters worse his partner was passive aggressive as hell and didn't want to but to appease him because she didn't have anywhere else to go she would say she was down but she really wasn't. After listening to her and watching her behavior, I was like, nah dude I'm out.
-
absolutely loved this
-
It's kind of hard to take it seriously when people call themselves polyAMOROUS, when in fact their impetus for entering an open relationship was to "fuck" other people because of some arbitrary itch.
If the impetus is for sexual satisfaction, rather than love, then that's fairly pretentious to label yourself as poly because it makes you feel part of some kind of appropriated common identity. -
Man.. STDs in full effect
-
like a free bird that comes back wtf? ok for 1 your both ugly asf nobody wants you not even each other lol u both look like you smell like feet and tofu
-
Personally I find this completely destroys the purpose of a relationship, but maybe I'm old fashioned.
