A new way to protect sheep from wolves

1. Use combination of great Pyrenees+ Caucasian shepherd... Pyrenees can easily roam with the sheep n goats n Caucasian shepherd will give tough outskirts protection
2. this is stupid i have had lama they can stop coyotes not wolves or dogs, they get killed by dogs easy thats why i bought import CO dogs to protect my goats the lama can only do so much same with donkey u need something huge and vile and a bunch of them
3. add some coocklebury to their coats for their own bite or claw protection thicker better.
4. If enviromentalist want wolfs to roam the highlands again then these people should pay a personal tax to feed the wolves otherwise of course these predators will kill sheep for food, let common sense prevale.
5. wolves can kill elk and moose, they can kill a Llama.
6. The big problem is : Farmers,Industrie and co. make the Animals to harmless cause then they are easy to slaughter.
   And then the Wolf comeback they cant defend themself vs this predator.
   
   2nd Problem is : Farmers and co. bring the sheeps,cows and co. in a lost valley and sometimes they live 2 or more weeks without a human,this = free buffet for every predator(here in Germany the most dangerous predators are other Humans who steal sheeps and co.).
   
   i live in the mountains,and in last 10 years i see only one real shepard/stockman who walks with his sheep pack and he got 2-3 shepparddogs,wolf dont will attack any sheep from this cause : 1 x Human + 2-3 Dogs = too much trouble for a Wolf.
   
   3rd Problem : if u wanna avoid conflicts with wolfs u need natural food for wolfs,and here we got the next problem,to reach this target u need to talk with hunters.
   Cause if the hunters kill every year the same number of wild animals = not enough food for Wolf and co. and so the Wolf need to search Food and then he go too Sheeps and co.
   
   With Lamas its an exellent idea,possible u need a big ram with massive horns,these animals fight in USA sometimes vs Pumas/Cougars,and they will attack any Wolf who come to close to his sheep pack ;)

11. The best protection is a few Akita's !!! They turn into a wrecking machine when confronted by trouble. Never fear anything even in numbers and won't stop until the job is done !!!!

13. The wolves will eventually figure out the llamas and attack them and the sheep.
14. People eat meat, and this land was taken from nature the pastures and wolves, too, want to eat, stop eating meat and probley wolves disappear

    Wolves will attack sheep anytime they get a chance! They are nightmarish killers.

18. Not a new way at all. Shepherds have been using flock guards dogs for thousands of years. It's even mentioned in the bible. But this is typical of western farmers. Want the cheaper Llama for the "bottom line".
19. A adult lone wolf and certainly a pack will take out that llama easily. How is it suppose to protect the sheep? By being bait?
20. How can they return if they went extinct?????? When an animal becomes extrict they no longer exist....
