Can you imagine this guy got paid to do this? Really?
-
were you going through a divorce while reviewing this//jeez you sound depressed !
-
The problem with the brakes is the kevlar pads. Once you change them to the HH pads, all is good.
-
noooo.....in Canada; pronounced " Motor-Gutsy"

Good Review...In Canada, I would prefer the M-G 'cuz the cylindres actually keep your knees from freezing...and the huge tank [at least on the NTX]....and they are supposed to be supercomfy, for my big bony old frame......and now you tell me the gas mileage is that bad....hmm...does the 4v eat more gas than the NTX\adventure model? anybody?....thx.

You want more stopping power than 4 piston twin Brembo's? Are you trying to do a front flip?
-
Why did you bother, did you have a directive to discourage interest ? Find another occupationj.

....this sucked

Dude, have a coffee, and get excited, you review bikes for a living!

The anesthesia is starting to kick in

The proper pronunciation is goot-see. The "zz" is pronounced like they are in "pizza".

@BruceBrown11 The definition of longitudinal is that the crankshaft runs parallel to the vehicle centerline. Transverse means it runs perpendicular to the vehicle centerline. It is not based on what "looks" sideways or what Harley does, it is standard engineering nomenclature. Occasionally, Guzzi's own marketing materials will say transverse simply to satisfy idiots here who think Harley's is the "right" way, but they also say "OHC" which it isn't. Trust me, Guzzi *engineers* know better.

@crispiegee1 "Gootsie" ... really funny :-))) Built in Mondello , on the lake of Como, Italy : beautifull place... land of bikers, hundreds, all around, every week end, sometimes overcrowded and boring...
-
crispiegee1, you are correct about the pronunciation, otherwise you are wrong. It is indeed a transverse v-twin. Transverse means the cylinders are at right angles to the bike. If it was longitudinal, the cylinders would be fore and aft, not across as the are.
-
#1 It's pronounced "Gootsie" #2 It's not a transverse V-twin, it's longitudinal #3 Ditto for BMW's longitudinal boxer

@360Twin Probably an undiagnosed case of type 2 diabetes with hyperglycemia. That or depression.

I agree with Swinkyuk.... Tank range is crucial when ur off the beaten track, and the digital fuel guage sounds dodgy.I may just go for a 1200 breva instead, nice looker though-the Stelvio

They have logic, it's just not YOUR logic. There is more than one way of doing things, more than one way to live, more than one way to engineer things. Citroen cars used to be really different and really cool. Viva La Difference.

Not so much as bulletproof, but you can rebuild them, and still get parts to do so. Though I do know of a couple of Guzzi's with over 200K that have never been rebuilt.
